There is sky… and clouds… and real sunshine. Oh Daddy Sunshine… Look, it’s you, your’e in lots of the paintings… Is this HEAVEN ? “” Oh, look it’s your Mommie, way up there, her arms are spread open wide All of her kids are sitting at her feet. Some of her kids look like Saints… I can tell cause they have Halos. Oh, Daddy Sunshine, this is a Holy Place… “Oh, no…. something is wrong ! Why are all of the people crying ?Erin… this is a Funeral…Help them… Daddy Sunshine, Help them feel better… please !
I will… my precious little Eri-kin’s.” Oh, my goodness… that’s a dead Grandpap… a dead grandpap ! “Just that second a ray of sunshine passed through the base window of one of Erin’s Dairy Queen soft ice cream cones, high a top the Cathedral… It embraced the sleeping Grandpap. Within the glowing embrace of pure light the Grandpap became a Baby, right before Erin’s eyes. They look like, Dairy Queen, soft ice cream cones, you know the ones with the curl on top !

How come they're blue like a sunny day sky... aand WOW... I see stars.

PREFACE: Forgiveness is soooooo... difficult, especially if you are the victim of a personal attack or an attack on your family or a loved one... That really hurts you deeply !

On a broader scale. thinking of society or mankind... history teaches us of the terrible atrosities of wars and genoside !

Society or mankind have become even more unforgiving... because of the collective death and suffering inflicted by Adolf Hitler during the Holocost in World War II, Bennito Musselini, in Italy, and Joseph Stalin, in Russia. All told over
30 million people were killed.

They were Fathers, Mothers, Children, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles... brutally and ruthlessly taken away from there families... the remaining survivers lives were changed forever.

As a dear friend of mine, Bill Olcott, stated to me: " You can hate and be non-forgiving for the rest of your life... or you can get to know...GOD, and learn forgiveness... It will set you FREE !!! "

No matter what your beliefs are, or where you are on your spiritual journey. This, may really help you...

FORGIVENESS

SEE... BABIES IN THEIR FACES :)

I was working hard on the beginning of my writing of "Daddy Sunshines Story ", back in 1982. I was starting on a one page story about Forgiveness...

So many childhood memories came into my mind, as well as examples of lessons I learned from my Mom and Dad, even in adult life...

I thought of how terribly I was bullied by other children and teenagers while growing up... feelings of anger and resentment welled up inside me. I could still feel the fear and dread in my stomach. Yet, also I could feel the adrenolin rush of seeing those guys today and wanting to " Smash them like a bug. "

Then in an instant... it came to me. I thought how could I forgive them... how could I possibly find compassion for them and the problems and insecurities in their lives that led them into becoming bullies.

Over 30 years had passed by... I had learned so much about human nature. I thought of my own children and how I helped them deal with the same exact problems in their lives growing up.

I actually thought of my kids when they were babies and my praying that they would not have to suffer the same experiences. I even imagined seeing images of the many bullies that hurt me when they... were just babies. :)

Then it hit me... We are all just babies in God's eyes. Whether we are 1 years old or even 100 years old... We are learning to choose LOVE. We have til our... last breath in this existence to choose LOVE... and then be born into ETERNITY ! :)

God has... Divine Patience and Tolerance partly because we are his babies, his children, no matter what our ages.

He sees " Babies in our Faces " He sees each of us as precious little babies who are still growing up... and learning to choose being good...

When we all have babies of our own we do. or will always...
" FORGIVE "... them when they make a mistake or do wrong.
Just looking in their eyes.. we always know and trust in our hearts that over time... even if it takes until adulthood they will learn or redeem themselves !

So... to HELP us forgive those who hurt us, no matter what age...

SEE BABIES... IN THEIR FACES ! :)

Imagine them as newborn babies... at the height of their innocence... :)

Imagine holding them in your arms... and holding them tight. :)

Then you will be seeing them as GOD sees YOU ! :)

Then like a MIRACLE... GOD will fill your hearts with LOVE and FORGIVENESS and set you FREE !!! :)
